Oh Lordy I Love Harmony

Ok, so I have decided that I am obsessed with harmony. Maybe that's what I have gone over the top Musical crazy lately. Something about sitting in a theater and hearing "One More Day" from Les Miserable belted full of harmonies in your face...just amazing! Or some beautifully sad ballad that just rips your heart out with these minor chords. I don't know what it is but a soloist can get me going but when I hear just thick chords it just takes me to another place. That place where you get those goose bumps all over your arm and even tears can well up in your eyes as the sound envelops the whole inside of your head.

There is nothing better than that...nothing.

I know what you are talking about. I love those big gospel choirs full of black singers, it is a joyous thing.

I know what you mean...I wish I had soul like those choirs, and the chops to sing like that too. The Color Purple on Broadway is a perfect example of the power of those types of harmonies.
